Farewell Pastor and Sis. Karen

Pastor Cook and Sister Karen are leaving the Man Church of God Family Worship Center. They have pastored here for more than 30 years and it is with heavy hearts that we bid them farewell and God's blessings. Pastor and Karen are more than leaders in our little church, they are friends and family. We will miss them so much.
On Saturday January 27, 2007 at 6:00 pm our church had a reception to commemorate our Pastor and his family. Several dignitaries from our town and the county spoke about Pastor and his service to the community. Pastor was presented an outstanding Logan Countian Commendation. Also a letter from WV Congressman Nick Joe Rahall was read thanking Pastor for his friendship to Mr. Rahall and for all his hard work on behalf of the people of Logan County. A picture slide show was shown detailing the past 30 years of Pastor's and Sis. Karen's ministry here at our church. It was a wonderful night. (Click each thumbnail to view the full picture.
